Manage the content on the device via iTunes.

I am using iTunes.  What happened was I filled it to capacity.  I receive the message on the blue bar-graph "Over Capacity by 525.8 MB".  I went back over my menus and deleted about 20 hours of audio and still receive the same message.  I am still not able to add new pod-casts.

If the content selected to be removed is not removing when syncing do the following.

Deselect the options to sync Music, Podcasts, etc (whatever is not being removed), then sync.

Once all content is removed, select the option to sync those items again.  Select the specific content desired to sync and sync.

It is time consuming but unforuntately sometimes necessary.
