Mar 13, 2014 2:15 PM in response to Jeff.Jacobby cheathamcc,Having the exact same issue with viewing PDF's within the Mail app when using my Exchange account. Some "older" PDF files work fine, but more recent ones fail to open. They simply show a black screen. Similar to Jeff, if I try to open it in Readdle PDF Expert, PDF Expert won't open it and states that the file is corrupted. If I save the file to Dropbox from my desktop, and then open it in PDF Expert from Dropbox on my iPad, file opens fine.

Mar 14, 2014 12:28 PM in response to Aronncrozby cheathamcc,★HelpfulInterestingly, I think I stumbled on a workaround.
For one of the emails with an attached PDF that I have been having trouble with, if I tap on the PDF icon to download it, and then tap on it to open it, I get the error (black or white screen).
But, with this same email, if I first tap on the "Download Full Message" link at the bottom of the email, the PDF will then open correctly when I tap on the PDF icon.
I confirmed that this works on two different iOS 7.1 devices.

Mar 14, 2014 2:04 PM in response to cheathamccby kellyfromseabrook,Thanks for the tip. I have tried that on several of the documents that wouldn't open yesterday and it seems to be a interim solution to the problem.

Mar 14, 2014 2:10 PM in response to cheathamccby Jeff.Jacob,I just confirmed this works if the PDF was never downloaded or if was downloaded. Thank you hopefully someone at apple fixes this. Out of curiosity to the people here? Exchange server 2007? Anyone have a broken PDF that doesn't have confidential information in it that can be used to test the bug?

Mar 17, 2014 5:13 AM in response to Jeff.Jacobby MacBook Pro itunes User,I have the same problem:
I use Mail with an Exchange-Account.
All the PDF-attachments are distroyed with black and white stupid characters and often with several colours.
When You forward such a distroyed PDF-document with a mail, the damaged PDF-file will reach the new Mailbox too.
The bug occurs with iPhone 5s and iPad air
Consequence: i cannot use my ios-devices with Software 7.1 at the moment !
I hope, Apple will help very soon!
