Q: IPad mini & Keynote

I use an iPad mini with an Apple TV & a flatscreen TV to show a Keynote presentation at church.  When I upgraded to the latest iOS, I now have problems.  I was told to go Settings each time & click on lock rotation & then my iPad screen had to be in Portrait mode. This sometimes works but not always.  Last week, I was unable to use my Keynote presentation.  Is there another option?  I am really frustrated!

Update to 7.1. Many people are saying it fixed this well-known issue.

does the router or wifi netword have to be connected to the internet for airplay to work?

so in other words, can I use a router to connect to an appleTV (wiredly or wirelessly) and connect an another iOS device (such as an ipad) to the same network via airplay, even if the router doesn't have internet access, for keynote, to work, all slide in keynote are all text based slides?

    PS:

can two ipad beed used on the same appleTV (not at the sametime, tho)

    for exp:

lets say iPad A, needs using keynote via airplay, then iPad B, can connect via airplay for keynote for what iPad B needs to show, then when iPad B is done, switch back to iPad A (or iPad A can reactive airplay), or does iPad A, have turn off airplay for iPad B to use airplay?

    Thanks!

No, the router does not need to be connected to the Internet. Does that mean it's not working for you?
