Mar 16, 2014 3:15 PM in response to Jeepyetby ChrisJ4203,The sending of email is handled by the SMTP server. Go into Settings>Mail and click on the affected account. Then go to the SMTP server area and check all of the settings. Some places in the Apple setup will say that username and password are optional, but may not be for that particular provider. If this does not help, then delete the account. After that, check with Cox for all of the correct settings and add the account back, making sure you take the time to enter all of the correct data.

Mar 16, 2014 3:29 PM in response to Jeepyetby ChrisJ4203,If you are sending from another account, then the issue is the setup of the Cox account. I would contact them directly about the issue. They are the email provider. Yours is not the first complaint that I have seen regarding using Cox on the iPhone. Cox should have information for you.
