Mar 17, 2014 1:38 PM in response to gimletwasbroby randers4,You might try refreshing the calendar on your iOS devices. To do this, open the calendar app, tap Calendars at the bottom, then pull down the center of the screen and release. If the changes still don't appear try giving it some time to see if the change will update your calendars later.

Mar 17, 2014 1:44 PM in response to randers4by gimletwasbro,Thanks for this. I've just tried it but to no avail, at least not yet. I'll leave it awhile to see if it appears later. Will report back in any event.

Mar 17, 2014 1:49 PM in response to randers4by gimletwasbro,I'm afraid I've already tried that (and I've just done it again on both ios devices) but to no avail I'm afraid.

Mar 17, 2014 1:51 PM in response to gimletwasbroby randers4,Do your contacts reflect the added birthday?

Mar 17, 2014 2:00 PM in response to randers4by gimletwasbro,Yes, on all 3 devices but the only Calendar where it is reflected is on my Mac. As an experiment I've also just tried amending the date of an existing Birthday in Contacts on my iPhone. Although this change was reflected under Contacts on all 3 devices once again the only place that the Calendar has reflected the change is on my Mac, the iPhone and iPad still reflect the original date.

Mar 17, 2014 2:05 PM in response to gimletwasbroby randers4,Try giving it some time then. I seem to recall reading in one of the support articles that changes can take up to an hour to push to your devices.

Mar 17, 2014 2:29 PM in response to randers4by gimletwasbro,It's been well over an hour since I made the change but I think I'll now leave it overnight and see what tomorrow brings. Thank you for your help.

Mar 17, 2014 2:32 PM in response to gimletwasbroby randers4,★HelpfulI just found a support article that says "changes will be reflected within a day" so there's still hope. See http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2676.

Mar 17, 2014 3:09 PM in response to randers4by gimletwasbro,Thanks for the info. However I've just tried, as a last resort, powering off both my ios devices and hey presto, the missing Birthday has appeared in all my calendars! Thank you for your support and help, your time spent was very much appreciated
