Mar 18, 2014 7:16 PM in response to sonokineticby samwatts,Yes I have the same issue. I'm daisychaining an Apollo Quad to my display using the Thunderbolt expansion and my Macbook Pro. LG UltraWide doesn't work in any configuration and I've tried another monitor which works fine.
Did you find a solution?
Maybe the LG needs more bandwidth than the Apollo can give when daisychained? I dunno I'm just guessing.
I'm talking with UAD Support but I bet I have to get another monitor to use TB

Jun 27, 2015 1:18 AM in response to sonokineticby skeewiff,Hi there. Did either of you find a solution?
I have just invested in a couple of Thunderbolt-cascaded apollos. My rig is wired as follows:
Mac Mini- > Apollo1 -> Apollo 2 -> Samsung 27" DP MonitorWith this set up I too suffer from flickering and cut outs. If I remove the cascaded apollo, all is fine. If I remove both Apollos, all is fine. UA support were incredibly fast in getting back to me, but said I should contact Apple & Samsung, as it SHOULD work. However, I doubt either of those two will give a hoot as they already have my money.
Any workable solutions?
Cheers
