Q: movies on mac

After I delete the movie the cover art is not visible anymore, even if in my country is possible to download again the movie. There's something wrong...

PS: I wanted to delete the file because I received an email from apple to do it because the movie was affected by some errors, they told me to delete it and then download it again

MacBook Pro, iOS 7.1

What do you mean 'the cover art is not visible anymore' ? How did you delete the film i.e. did you do it via Finder on your Mac, or (which you should have done if you want to redownload it) you've selected the film in the Movies part of your iTunes library and deleted it from there so that it isn't shown in your library anymore ?

I did what I found on the support page:

Before you delete, find out if you'll be able to download the movie you deleted again (it depends on where you live).

    1. Launch iTunes.
    2. From the Library pop-up menu, choose Movies.
    3. Click Movies in the navigation bar.
    4. Click the movie you want to delete.
    5. Press the Delete key on your keyboard.

In iTunes 11, the movie cover art will remain visible, but a cloud icon will appear on it to allow you to download the item again (in countries that support this).

With the phrase 'the cover art is not visible anymore' I meant that I can't see what they say in the last words:

In iTunes 11, the movie cover art will remain visible, but a cloud icon will appear on it to allow you to download the item again

I don't understand why... my iTunes version is 11.1.5

You have the option in iTunes of having purchases that are only in the cloud (i.e. not currently downloaded into your iTunes library) showing in your library i.e. on the Store tab in iTunes > Preferences there is a tickbox for whether to show them or not in your library (select the Movies part of your library and then go into preferences) :

    itunes in the cloud.jpg

With that ticked your cloud films should show in your library, and clicking the cloud icon on a film should redownload it (and the cloud icon will then disappear).

Or you can redownload items via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage
