Thanks for the question. If you are having issues after switching from one carrier to another, it would be best to contact your carrier for assistance:

Mar 19, 2014 11:15 AM in response to ameer99by Meg St._Clair,Even an unlocked Verizon 4S will not work on TMobile in the U.S. The iPhone 4S can be unlocked by Verizon but only for use outside of the US.

Mar 19, 2014 11:34 AM in response to ameer99by ameer99,All,
You were all right and thank you for the input. I contacted Verizon to unlock the phone. As anticipated, I had different answers from them; one rep says we unlock it Internationally but not in the US, another says, we can not unlock your phone per our policy and the other just confirmed "your phone is unlocked".... but at the end, the phone was unlocked and will not work on T-Mobile. T-mobile rep simply say that the phone will work on our network once verizon unlock it before the switch but NO IT DID NOT...I ended up buying new phone..Who knows whose scam is it, Verizon, Tmobile or Apple??? They all want some $$ from you...

Mar 19, 2014 1:26 PM in response to ameer99by Meg St._Clair,It's not anyone's scam. The phone was sold as a locked Verizon phone. Had you decided to use the phone on Verizon's network, it would have worked as intended. It is completely fit for the purpose for which it was sold.
