the app password box has the wrong apple Id how do I permanently remove this

    you need to sign out of the apple id :  Settings >  iTunes & App Store  >  Apple ID: xxx  tap on this and choose Sign Out from the pop-up menu.  Then enter the correct Apple ID.

    It also depends on the circumstances. If you are trying to update apps and the "wrong" Apple ID appears, it could be appearing because that was the ID that was used to purchase the apps. Apps may have been purchased using somebody else's ID. You cannot change that. Apps are always tied to the ID that was used to make the purchases.

     

    If you changed your Apple ID because you got a new email address, then the suggestion posted above should work for you.
