Q: Mountain Lion won't download

Got OS X Mountain Lion in Purchases bar in App Store. When I click Download, nothing happens. Once when I did this, I got the prompt to enter my Apple ID and password, which I did, then still couldn't download. Nothing has appeared in Applications folder. Am I missing something. When I click the Mountain Lion on the Purchases bar, a drop down message says "Item Not Available    The item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. store." Yet I purchased it thru App Store, they made it seem available. Am I missing something?

Mavericks is the OS X therefore will not show up in your Applications folder.

Which OS X does your Mac currently have installed ?

Mountain Lion is no longer available from the App Store.

Thought I'd deleted Mavericks when I cancelled installation. Anyway, I bought Mountain Lion instead and had trouble downloading as said above. An earlier post from another identical problem Discussion provided the solution, which was to just restart the mac; when it started up again, Mountain Lion was in the Dock, loading, ready to install, which now is completed, working fine. Thanks!
