Q: hi i used to have O2 pay monthly contract but it ended in September 2012, since the contract expired I keep requesting O2 to unlock my iphone4. But they keep saying we are unable to unlock because of error. This is going on for 2 years. Can apple help me?

hi i used to have O2 pay monthly contract but it ended in September 2012, since the contract expired I keep requesting O2 to unlock my iphone4. But they keep saying we are unable to unlock because of error. This is going on for 2 years. O2 keep saying they retrying and nothing happening. I am frustrated. How to unlock my phone? Can Apple help me?

    No Apple cannot and this is a User to User forum ,no Apple staff here

    As the carrier that locked the iPhone ,O2 are the only organisation that can unlock the iPhone

    That said they are the most co-operative of all UK carriers with unlocking

    Have you actually asked what the issue is and filled in their request form

    and are you still located in UK ,if not that will be the issue
