Mar 29, 2014 7:55 AM in response to teckcity01by Protonic,In order to make it work, you will need that SIM. That's the only way to make your phone work.
Get that sim and insert it in your phone and you will have a ordinary phone.

if you want to open sim lock then you need to simply restore iPhone to its original setting but you will loose your all data and this is the jail breaking... not legal method.

Do not jailbreak it, if so do it at your own risk.
To answer your question, go to the provider of that sim and ask for it. You say it is from Orange, then go to an Orange shop and ask for an Orange SIM.

Mar 29, 2014 12:40 PM in response to snozdopby Protonic,It is fairly obvious that you do not understand the meaning of illegal.
The context that I used it was not that it was against the law, what I meant was that it merely contravenes the rules that apply in a particular subject. Apple do condemn it.
