Feb 2, 2014 5:50 PM in response to Tahirscottby James5wins,I could say this, it maybe possible that its talking about the old account even thou they are all link to one account.
To me, I can sign into Apple using:
@me
@icloud
@yahoo
It could use any of them you might've used but its associated to one even thou you can login into Apple using any 3 that your account is hold up to.
Even thou being that they are all connected and being stupid but this is just a simple guess to just and try the idea.
But other than that, I would ask Apple to locate your Profile to see all the listed devices that you ever owned and unlock it from there. They should do that. Bc as you said, you bought it from the store directly or a 3rd party like BestBuy.

Feb 2, 2014 8:35 PM in response to fromsouthby MUHAMAD_elwardany,you know how to fish , so you are 1 of the 1% not the 99% you talked about yourself which doesn't know how to fish and there are countries arround the world the second hand market is their only way to have i devices
-
Feb 3, 2014 5:56 AM in response to MUHAMAD_elwardanyby fromsouth,Why would Apple, teach me to fish, give me a fishing gear and then take it away after a month? I am that person who actually pays Apple, not second hand reseller, like two of the posters here.

What do you know about b-market novadays? Can you even imagine its volume and prices? What do you think about d-addicted thieves ahd d-dealers (pushers) who usually steal and bye stolen phones (imo its up to 50% of stolen phones as well).. B-market prices are droped for now, thats why all non-activated phones come again to life only as spare part. Nobody want to return it to owner - its simply sold dissassembled for parts.. You never get your i-gadget back to you - for d-addicted no matter who you are - owner, 2-hand owner, Apple Forum messiah or someone else - them guys have to be doped twice per day.. iCloud - some of its functions - costs too freaking much for society.. cause d-addicted thieves now have to steal more and more devices.. But you dont know about it living kinda uptown life..

Apr 3, 2014 7:40 AM in response to Jassim.almutairiby alhaj_iphone,The responsibility lies with Apple because there is an error in the old iOS 5, iOS6, when you want to delete the account from iCloud, Password or connection to the Internet not reguaired, Find my iphone will not stop from the Account on iCloud.
If loged in for your account you will find iPhone still exists in (Find my iPhone).
This is what happens when you buy a device used from someone and when you ask him to delete his account he does so offline...
When you try to update your iPhone to iOS 7, in acctivation the device does locked with apple id, which is delete (Offline)...
my question to Apple Support: Don't I try to update iPhone from iOS 5 or 6 to iOS 7 if I bought used iPhone?????
when we ask you for help the ansower came from you: it's stolen.
come on APPLE!!! we are not thaif.....

Apr 3, 2014 10:50 AM in response to alhaj_iphoneby fromsouth,Wonder where did you come up with that story, that if you delete account with iOS 5 or 6 offline and/or online it would come back?

Apr 3, 2014 7:29 PM in response to Jassim.almutairiby RainCityComputers,There is now a way to find the email address of the owner providing they had at least had facetime enabled. Maybe more ways.. Look on YouTube for a guide.
It's sad that Apple won't deal with this. I have an iPhone 5 that I'm trying to find it's owner, it's locked out so I can't use the method above. I've searched for the serial number and the carrier won't disclose any information about them. I just want to return this thing to who ever owned it. And I can't even use it myself because of this bs, so really what it comes down to is Apple creating a **** ton of E-WASTE!
SHAME ON YOU APPLE, WHAT WOULD STEVE SAY!?
-
Apr 3, 2014 8:24 PM in response to RainCityComputersby fromsouth,Steve would congratulate on the job well done. Want to return back to owner turn it to police.

Apr 3, 2014 10:34 PM in response to fromsouthby trajan1,What if you are in a different city or state? What do you think the police will do with a lost or stolen iPhone? Apple is not working with police depts. to return iPhones. Dont be stupid. If your iPhone is stolen there is no way that you are going to get it back with the current Apple policy.
-
Apr 4, 2014 6:18 AM in response to trajan1by fromsouth,How do you know that Apple is not? But even if they didn't, which they do, by turning phone to legal authority you do what is right. By not buying phone like that you making sure that one less phone gets stolen. But it really doesn't matter what I think, matters what Apple does.
-
Apr 4, 2014 8:03 AM in response to fromsouthby trajan1,Because if Apple was working with local police depts. then they would help legitimate owners of iPhones that need FindMyiPhone removed from the previous owners. As it stands now Apple does nothing. zip ..nada!! Apple cannot even send the previous owner an email but you think they are working with police depts? Haha! Apple dont really care about your stolen iPhone so its never coming back with this current policy... and its not detering any thefts because there is a big market for iPhone parts. Also, you can jailbreak iPhones and hacktivate them and this "no help" policy from Apple only makes hackers work overtime to find exploits in iOS.

Apr 5, 2014 6:01 PM in response to fromsouthby RainCityComputers,The Police gave the phone to me
It was unclaimed for 90 days.Also I called Apple all the way up to the highest person I could talk to.
Apple told me they're prohibbited from contacting the owner. Regardless if I have thier lost phone and wanted to return it.
They also said they wouldn't be able to return it to the owner if I left it with them and refused to accept it, instead refering me to the police.
They have no program in place and they do not work with police to recover stolen phones.Apple wants you to pay for the replacement plan, or buy a new phone.
The police don't care and won't go out of there way. Theres more important things for them to be doing.
Unless someone comes into the polcice station and files a report and they just happen to have the lost phone chances are they'll never get it back. I gave the police the phone and they just gave it back to me after 3 months. Most people don't even report them as lost/stolen. Though more are now with the new laws in BC...(Mobilicity is not a participant).
