I guess it kinda pays off to be an extra early adaptor in this case since people with early releases don't seem to have this discoloration problem. My serial is 4H619 and I've been using my MacBook for ~3.5 weeks and I don't have any problems with discoloration anywhere that I can notice. I carefully looked, but can't find any spots, yet. Maybe my usage is too light.

Wow dude, you reallt CAN'T read!
I have not said anything about "SOAKING" or "DIPPING" a MB in bleach!
Common sense and the ability to read should have been enough to realise what I said.
Plus, the smallest aplicator I can think of is a Q-tip & if common sense does run in your family, you would try different strengths of diluted Oxygen Bleach anyway.

Someones with earlier revision (4H619) have the same problem, too.
So, maybe it is just because fewer people own in the very beginning, so fewer problems are reported by them.iBook G4, Mac OS X (10.4.6)
What about putting up a webpage with all these users? (me included)
We can advertise and keep an updated list. Plus online petition.
I volunteeer for the web coding and I will even buy the domain name if needed!

Pd. I think it's best if we use the exact delivery date rather than 1/2/3 weeks, it will have more meaning as time goes by and more people will join the death listiBook G4 14in, Mac OS X (10.4)

Two different types of noticeable time in the case:
Which day it is delivered or the first usage
- and -
How old the yellow stain was observed
And, the second type is ok in the format of # week(s)iBook G4, Mac OS X (10.4.6)
I've taken the suggestion and I've written in the website the delivery date AND the age of the computer when it started showing the discoloration problem.
i'm uploading the site right now, will give out an URL when it's doneiBook G4 14in, Mac OS X (10.4)
