then you'd have to consider looking into repair companies whose business
is Apple portable computers; older models and their parts.
Some occasionally list case parts, bottom cases, lids, keyboard/trackpad
assemblies, etc. Of the used inventory, price will vary depending on avail-
ability, condition, and demand.
Also location, in the global sense, may have a fair bit to do with part availability.
In the US there are a few companies, some of whom can send parts elsewhere.
There are independent & authorized repair companies, some with fair inventory.
Older and vintage parts can be hard to locate; as-new or NOS may be harder.
