Q: how do I make columns and rows?

I have to take the minutes for meetings.  I normally have now problem creating a document with 4 columns and 5-6 rows.  Now since I updated I can no longer figure out how to do it.

Go back to use Pages 09. It should be in Applications/iWork 09 folder. Pages 5 is stripped of about 100 features that Pages 09 has, is buggy and really not the same application as Pages 09 except for the name.

    Hal,

If you click the table icon in the toolbar, a Table will be added to your document at the current cursor position, and that table will have 4 columns and 5 rows. That seems to be what you are asking for, and it's easy to do, so there must be more to your question that I'm not getting. Could you elaborate?

    In Pages 5 :

click on the Table > at the end of the rows and columns is a dot with an equal sign in it (=) > click on that > change the numbers
