Q: slightly strange dvdsp behavior

So I've got a fairly complex dvd project.  I burn a dvd and when I play it on a set top player, if the player goes to "sleep" after a period of inactivity and I hit play, it always goes to a specific track.  This track is not first play.   Not a big deal, just wondering if there's a way to set the dvd up so that it'll go to the main menu rather than this track.

Have you tried it on any other hardware players?  If it's not in the player, it must be benign corruption of the project. All it would take is a bit error in an address register...

nope.  Frankly, most of the end use will be on computers where dvd players don't go to sleep.  Just wondering if there was anything I was missing.  It's an extremely complex project with many video clips and 20 tracks of music that can be accessed on the fly or played individually via menus.   It was first authored about 4 years ago and just updated with some new video clips.  There was definitely some slightly wonky behavior in dvdsp with "reveal in finder" not always working.  I really banged it against the wall on both my mac and on a settop player to make sure everything was functioning properly and my client tested it on both macs and pcs.
