Q: since 10.9.2 upgrade airplay and mirroring does not work via apple tv, iTunes plays fine via apple tv but i get a blank screen if i try to mirror to tv

Since upgrading to 10.9.2 mavericks I have no mirroring from my late model imac 27 " to apple tv. It plays fine via itunes but no mirroring.

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)
