Q: mac pro 1.1 disk permissions and repair permissions question
hello everyone, i have a situation i don't understand, i recently installed a crucial m500 240 gb ssd as my os x drive, i did a clean install of os x 10.7.5 with all my updates, etc. anyway when i verify disk permissions on this drive i get several permissions that differ from what they should be, when i repair disk permissions it says disk permissions repaired yet i can verify again and all the permissions i just repaired show up again saying they differ from what they should be. this happens whether i re-verify immediately or shut down the machine and come back to it days later. can someone help me understand what's going on, and how i might fix this? thanks
Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5), 1.1 ssd,14 gb ram, 2x3.0Ghz d.core

Nothing is going on. Those are innocuous messages that you can safely ignore. They do no harm, but they will recur every time your repair permissions.
