Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).  Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

facing same problem since last two weeks.

My iphone 4 restarts when I slide my notification center.

I tried Erase All Content & Settings, it worked fine but when I restored my old backup problem started again.

I tried Reset All Settings, it worked fine for a week or so and same problem started today.

Apple please let us know any work aroud for this problem, its very annoying every time the iphone restarts.

You've already proven that it is an issue with your backup.  Restore the phone as new, do not restore the backup.

There is nothing for Apple to fix.

I have figured out work around for iphone restating every time i open the notification center..

go to iphone >> Settings >> Notification Centre >> TODAY VIEW >> Calendar Day View ( turn this off )

this temporary solution worked for me and when turn on Calaender Day View, restart problem starts again.

So, I believe its IOS problem, please Apple look into it as turnning off Calender Day View is not the option.

    Apple is not here.

Thank you very much for your suggestion, I have exactly the same issue and your workaround helped me .

So, it seems that It doesn´t have to do with your backup, because it´s happening to me as well.

I will use the "feedback" link suggested, to see if Apple could take care of this problem.

If I receive any update on this I will let you know on this thread.

    Best regards,

Same problem here, and when i turned Calendar Day View it solved it, is that really IOS problem that can be fixed with new update, or is it somethig more serious ?

I tried switching OFF all the options in Today view in Notifications. But this isn't working for my iPhone 4S and iPhone 6 as well.

I see this issue frequently on my iPhone 6. Updated latest iOS version - 9.3.2. Using iTunes 12+ (if that matters)

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Switch ON all the notifications for Messaging App and any other third party apps like WhatsApp (ON the 'Show on Lock Screen as well)

    2. Lock the phone and ask your friend to send a very long message, long enough not fit your phone screen.

    3. Once the message arrived, you should be receiving a Notification.

    4. Pull down the notification curtain to view the message.

There you go...you see a black screen with apple logo pics attached. However, the phone does not restart. Given some time it displays the locked-screen.
