Apr 12, 2014 1:56 AM in response to bsmith650by bsmith650,Thanks for the technical knowledge. It does not appear that one can determine which apps support airplay or restrict it. Also, paying for the live look-in portion of the app was something I wanted to avoid if it is not supported. Can one look in the description and information section of the app in the appstore and decifer if the airplay is supported rather than being left in the dark?
Another question. Is there any difference between the capabilities pad vs phone when trying to mirror to television? Or do I just have to purchase an ipad and go through each app with both my newly purchased pad and other device so I can try it and find out?

- Try it
- Contact the developer and ask them
AirPlay works the same regardless of iDevice that it is being used from.
