Q: getting rid of pop up ads

If you are using Apples Safari browser then start by going to Safari-Preferences-Security and select 'Block Popup Windows'.

Also install the very good Ad Block add-on found here.

Please post a screenshot that shows what you mean. Be careful not to include any private information.

I have the same problem.

Every time I click on a link in Twitter or Zite i get redirected to these pop up sites (two screen shots attached) and numerous others.

I have done the Safari thing of clearing history and cookies, blocked pop ups and disallowed all coookies, deleted Xite and Twitter and re-installed and re-booted — all to no avail.
