Q: After upgrade It still will not let me get into icloud with my password.  I have done everystep that instuctions say to do and it still will not work I have changed password several times for apple and it wont let me delete icloud

my phone will not let me sign into Icloud.  It keeps saying password not correct.  I have logged out of my imessage and facetime and relogged back in.  I have changed my apple id also and it still continues to say apple id wrong? 


Has anyone else had this exprience and how do I fix it?

I have folowed apple instuctions and it will not work

    Hi laraefrommo,

     

    You need to do the following to delete the iCloud account that still has your old ID:

     

    1.     Go to Manage your Apple ID and change your Apple ID back to the ID that is showing in iCloud (you do not need to verify it - this is temporary. Do not change your password): Apple - My Apple ID

     

    2.     Go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and press Delete to remove the iCloud account. Type in your current password when asked. Follow the prompts to delete the account.

     

    3.     Go back to Manage your Apple ID and change your Apple ID back to the new ID (you may need to verify it again)

     

    4.     Go back to Settings>iCloud and sign on with the new ID
