    Apple stores typically only carry accessories for current devices.

    You will have to order an iBook charger online.

    The power supply you get - if an original replacement

    part - can be identified here in this support page:

    Third-party products are available, they don't always look like the originals. Some are inexpensively made clones, and may fail; others that don't look original may be OK. You can also find used or old stock products online or perhaps in a store carrying older pre-owned, restored, repaired iBook and PowerBook G4s. These cost between $25 to $50 or so.

    Companies such as OWC and powermedic.com, ifixit.com, and others have parts. You should be able to find a retail location where parts can be obtained in person near you in California. Sometimes you can get lucky if you know exactly what you need, by looking in bins at second hand stores, or charity thrift stores. When the price is low, the item could be worth the risk, although some used parts found that way may not work.

    You may be able to google or yahoo for a local reseller of correct adapters;

    & some may offer System software, but check w/ Applecare or Support,

    note my reply in your other post. Worth it to call & ask.

    Hopefully you can get it going...

    Good luck & happy computing!
