Q: I have changed companies and my Icloud account ID needs to be changed and I am lost.  How do I unscrew it???

How do I change my I cloud ID to match my Apple ID?

    Hi Thomas,

     

    You will need to do the following:

     

    1.     Sign onto Manage your Apple ID and change your Apple ID back to the old ID that is currently still signed onto iCloud (this is temporary - do not verify it, do not change the password): Apple - My Apple ID

     

    2.     Go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on Delete to delete the old iCloud account - use your current password when asked, then follow prompts to complete the deletion

     

    3.     Go back into Manage your Apple ID and change your ID back to the new one (you may have to verify it again)

     

    4.     Go back into Settings>iCloud and sign on with the new ID
