Apr 16, 2014 8:37 AM in response to Kevertjesby sheila_m.,Hello Kevertjes,
Thank you for the question. You may need to update your version of iPhoto for it to be compatible with OS X Mavericks. I recommend checking the Mac App Store for software updates for iPhoto:
To manually check for app updates, choose Apple menu > Software Update.
OS X Mavericks: Install, update, and uninstall apps
http://support.apple.com/kb/PH14299
If your original version of iPhoto was installed from a disc, you may need to associate iPhoto with your account as outlined in this article:
OS X Mavericks: Updating disc-installed versions of Apple apps via the Mac App Store

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
Best,
Sheila M.

Apr 16, 2014 10:47 AM in response to Kevertjesby sheila_m.,Hi Kevertjes,
Thank you for the update. I recommend verifying that you are signed in with the same Apple ID associated with or used to purchase iPhoto on the App Store under the Store menu.
If you are signed in with an alternate Apple ID, I recommend signing out of the App Store, signing back in with the correct Apple ID, and then trying the update again:
Sign out
Choose Store > Sign Out.
Sign in using an Apple ID
- Choose Store > Sign In, or click Sign In in the Quick Links section. The Quick Links section is located in the right part of the window shown when you click Featured, Top Charts, or Categories in the toolbar.
- Enter your Apple ID and password, and then click Sign In.

I did what you told me but .... :-(
(null)
This is what i get ... always, also after login out ....
I'm sorry it's in french ....
Kind regards
Evy .... Enjoy your day or evening
