Apr 17, 2014 1:38 AM in response to Carolyn Samitby krauhol,I do not have FileVault enabled. My problem is that I cannot upgrade to Mavericks as the installer is telling me that I do not have a Recovery Partition. But this is simply wrong.

Apr 17, 2014 1:43 AM in response to krauholby Mark Piaskiewicz1,Try going into Disk Utility, selecting the recovery partition, mounting it and then running disk repair. See if any errors are seen and fixed (or not). Unmount the disk and try the installer again.

Apr 17, 2014 1:56 AM in response to Mark Piaskiewicz1by krauhol,It does not appear in the Disk Utility. I only see my Macintosh HD. But I can boot from the Recovery HD by holding the "alt" key when booting.
