It is not easy to remove and the official bitdefender uninstall offers have a patchy success rate. Be careful.

What keeps coming up : a screenshot may help. As might, running the uninstaller while in the problem account.
If it's just in a web browser, check Safari extensions & the equivalent for Chrome/Firefox if you use those.

There seem too many versions/trials to know for sure. Avoid anything not from the developer though, which means most of what google turns up.

Yes, that would have been my first thought ... then I remembered MacKeeper, and that their uninstaller can cause more trouble than the original.

Not on my login, but my childrens. I have deleted it from my login, and I have searched within each of my children's login for the program, but still it comes up
