Apr 19, 2014 11:10 PM in response to Kilgore-Troutby RaoAppis,Ok, so I took an appointment with the so-called 'Genius Bar' and got my ipad checked. They said it will cost me $250 and even that is for a 'swap', meaning I would lose whatever I had. Brokenhearted, I came home and searched more on Apple communities. Surely this simple issue cannot be a $250 loss (+ loss of invaluable personal data). Then, I found Riley Stewart's recommendation at https://discussions.apple.com/message/21959408#21959408. Lo and behold! Couple of kneeling sessions on the ipad and it was as good as it was before! Made me think - 'Genius Bar', really?!!
