Q: iPad left in the car and now it has a black screen

Apr 19, 2014 11:10 PMby RaoAppis,Ok, so I took an appointment with the so-called 'Genius Bar' and got my ipad checked. They said it will cost me $250 and even that is for a 'swap', meaning I would lose whatever I had. Brokenhearted, I came home and searched more on Apple communities. Surely this simple issue cannot be a $250 loss (+ loss of invaluable personal data). Then, I found Riley Stewart's recommendation at . Lo and behold! Couple of kneeling sessions on the ipad and it was as good as it was before! Made me think - 'Genius Bar', really?!!
