Q: my iPad will not print to my AirPrint printer. The print center shows the printer but it continually says "waiting"

My iPad will not print to my HP AirPrint printer. The print center shows the printer and the print job but the print center continually shows it is "waiting"

iPad 2, iOS 5.0.1

    That is usually a sign that there is something the printer wants.  Like paper, or ink, or an old print job that never cleared.   Take a look at the printer control panel and see if it gives you any clues.  When in doubt, reboot the printer.

    This article states that if your printer is not listed you can't airprint from your idevice but I have printed from my Ipad to my HP Officejet Pro 8600 in the past but now, all of sudden, I no longer can't. I'm trying to print from the "note" app but every time I try to print it keeps sending to my printer but never prints. Constantly buffering and sending, that's all it does. My color ink levels are all low but I have plenty of black ink left. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED WITH APPLE AND HP!!!!
