Q: Cannot find AirDrop in OS X 10.9.2

Are both machines listed on AirDrop compatibility list below?  Use the System Profiler to make the determination:

MacBook Pro 5,1 and later

MacBook Air 3,1 and later

MacBook 5,1 and later

iMac 9,1 and later

Mac Mini 4,1 and later

Mac Pro 4,1 and later

If not, you may want to use just plain old file sharing:
