Q: Shared files do not show up on network

Macmini running on OS X 10.6.8 on a trendnet router connected to windows 7 pc. Mac will not show up on network after going over the steps to set up file shareing.

Mac mini, Mac OS X (10.6.8), PC on network running windows 7
