Apr 26, 2014 1:35 AM in response to rimpi tahiaby Paul_31,If you go to the Apple menu, top left of the screen, and select 'About this Mac' what version of OS X is indicated - 10.9.2?
If it says 10.9.0 or 10.9.1 and the Mac App Store is still offering the update to 10.9.2 - try to do the update again and then test Facetime.
If you continue to have problems try:
1. A 'Safe Boot' and once fully booted restart as normal from the Apple Menu and test Facetime:

2. If Safe Boot didn't help, try an SMC and PRAM reset and then test Facetime again:
