Q: Ipod Nano 4th Gen. Sound Distortion.

Had my ipod for ages now. Woke up one day went on it tried to play some music and then BAM! Its all distorted. Got 7 new pairs of headphones still distorted. Turned eq off and on bass reducer. Looked at all the threads about sound distortion nothing helped at all. Sound check on and off. reset settings. Hard reset.! even tried normalizing the volume off all my songs still was distorted-took the f-ing ****- Now am furious i just wanna listen to some music and its so annoying!!!!!!! didnt use my ipod for like 6 weeks went on it again and the sound was perfectly fine again, thought the problem had been resolved worked for about 30mins and then BAM went all distorted and now its just ******* me off tried to fidget about with it and see if it'd work and still didn't. SO PLEASE! SOMEONE TELL ME HOW I COULD FIX IT. THERES LIKE A THOUSAND THREADS ABOUT IT AND NONE OF THEM WORK DO THE IPOD  WORKERS EVEN LOOK AT OUR THREADS JUST ANSWER IT AND  GOD!!!! PS- WHEN the volume is very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very low when u can just about hear it the sound works perfectly again

    It may have been a coincidence, by my Nano (4th gen) was doing this, and I went through all the same settings, on & off, wiggled the earphone jack and no change.  Then I toggled the lock switch back-&-forth a couple of times and all went right.  It's playing good right now.  Time will tell, but that's something else to try.
