Apr 28, 2014 12:57 AM in response to disciaraby Neil Paisnel,Maybe it is to do with where the ISP connected to the other end of the WiFi is located.
My ISP is located/registered in a neighbouring island..so I appear as if I am in Guernsey island, although I live in Jersey.
Do you have a mobile data connection you coudl try..or take the machine to some where else that uses a different ISP and see what your location shows as then.
On Facebook every one in Jersey (the island not New Jersey USA) appear as if we live in Carteret in France.

Apr 28, 2014 2:44 AM in response to Neil Paisnelby disciara,The ISP here is correctly located. Other pieces of the puzzle I have recently discovered are: a) by connecting with my iPhone via 3G as opposed to WiFi, the iPhone displays the correct location; b) when trying to set the time to the Mac, in the automatic mode it goes to China; I have to select manual to display the correct time.
However, the fact that the devices select ShanZhen as a location is certainly not casual, since it is where they were made. For some reason they switch to that location instead of getting the correct input from the GPS.
