OS X Mavericks instructs me to change from 32 bits to 64 bits in iTunes - how?

When I go to iTunes - "get info" - there is no mark in the "open in 32-bit mode" box.

But it seems like iTunes is runnig in 32 Bit mode and not in 64 birt mode.

How to switch?

iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

You don't see this in the Get Info window?

If, not, what version of iTunes are you running?

If the problem persists in a new or Guest user account : try reinstalling it

    Hi Varjak,

Yes, it looks eksactly like your screenshot (no marking in the "open in 32-bit-mode" box).

I have the lastest iTunes (I just checked).

I have a audiofile ".aa" file which I would like to play in quicktime, but when I try to open it either trough the quicktimen menu "open" or via "right click on the file" chousing quicktime it wont open. Showing the message:
    "Quicktime Player can't open "audio_score_032.aa".

    - And then skme more; To see if aditional software is available tha twill enable quicktime Player to open the movie, Click Tell Me More." which just takes me to " http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3775?viewlocale=en_US "

    (which dont solves the problem)...

    -

I have otrher files which was produced in the same "batch" in the recording studio (sound score for a video I am making) All the others opens and plays fine in quicktime, but not the last one.

    -

When trying to open it in iTunes it gives the message:

    "iTunes requres 64-bit mode."

"To run iTunes in 64-bit mode, select the iTunes ,,, - - - ,,, it basically tells how to påen tje "get info window"

    - wich looks eksactly like your screenshot. so my conclution is that iTunses is not running in 64 bit mode, or there is a glitch /erro in reconising the file combined with an erro in the system thinking it is not in 64 bit mode....

    Hope you can help.

Thinking prehaps it is an erro in the file or a glich/erro in the system?
    - thanks for trying any way :-)

    Kind regards

    Henrik
