Apr 28, 2014 4:27 PM in response to 12wegoby Demo,Which password? You were linked here from the Understanding Restrictions website, so I'm assuming you're asking about the restrictions passcode. If that's what you're asking about, you can't reset it. You have to restore the iPad to factory settings to remove the passcode.
If you are talking about the passcode to unlock the device, the fix is still the same. You have to restore the device to factory settings using iTunes in order to remove the passcode.

BTW...the way that you prevent it from being changed is to not let the child know what it is to begin with.
