Q: Password not recognised on Samsung External Hard Drive S1 T1

Has anyone found that they have been able to use a Samsung S1 external hard drive since recent apple upgrades? The same password used to allow access the external hard drive for the past 2/3 years does now not work.... in effect, I am locked out. Googled mch but found little. HELP!

iweb, Mac OS X (10.7.4), Only have issues with Chrome

sudo chflags 0 /volumes/*
sudo chmod a+rx /volumes/*
