May 2, 2014 2:45 AM in response to dApAkby Ralston Champagnie,I wanted to attempt to answer your question so I opened my user and group...got surprised...my MacBook Pro had unbound it self from the server. I am not sure what's going...I am concluding that there is a bug with this Network User/Open directory. This is the second time I have had issues.
I would suggest to delete the replica and start over. I have had to do that after the upgrade to 3.1.

May 2, 2014 4:06 AM in response to dApAkby Ralston Champagnie,Okay, it seems when I had bound my MacBook Pro to the server I had used a wired connection. So now connected wirelessly, I had the router's DNS and not the server's. Changed that and it is all good.
In your case, you might need to follow this: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5289
When you recreate Open Directory, make sure the client's DNS is the server and you should be good.

May 2, 2014 7:57 AM in response to Ralston Champagnieby dApAk,Hi Ralston and thanks for the attempt.
What replica are you talking about? I've created no replica of anything. I had a prior issue with the LDAP where the message was "Unable to load replica" but I was able to wipe the Open Directory and create a master.
I'm creating the server from scatch, so no migration or replica. Thanks anyway!
