May 3, 2014 5:03 PM in response to Julz49by randers4,If this is an iCloud email account, try force closing the Mail app and resetting your iPad. To do this, double-tap the home button, locate Mail, swip up on the image above the Mail app icon to close it, then tap the home button again. Then reset your iPad by holding the power (sleep/wake) and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release. Then test Mail again.
If you're still having trouble, go to Settings>iCloud, turn Mail off, then turn it back on.
