Q: can't get the app "Dropbox" to download to my home screen on my iPad can only open it in the app store.

Have signed up for Dropbox but it will not download to my iPad.  I can only open it if I go to the app store and open Dropbox from there.

Any ideas?

iPad Air Wi-Fi, iOS 7.1.1
