May 4, 2014 2:05 PM in response to niteowlby Roger Wilmut1,You have to sign out and sign in again with the new password in all places that use this Apple ID. Assuming you have only the one, this includes System Preferences (or Settings)>iCloud (which will include Mail and all other iCloud facilities), iTunes (which is separate from iCloud), Discussions, appleid.apple.com, the App Store and the Online Apple Store.

May 4, 2014 2:49 PM in response to Roger Wilmut1by niteowl,So there is no central way to change the Apple ID Password in all Apple core products? You have to change each Apple core product separately? Where would be the first / best place / login point / application one would start?
Once I change one login I assume I'll have to change all?
I have a MBP and an iPad.

May 4, 2014 2:50 PM in response to niteowlby Roger Wilmut1,I should start with iCloud since the syncing runs all the time and it won't work until you change the password. The iTunes Store etc. won't need the password until you actually try to do something with them; I assume you are still on here simply because you haven't logged out but obviously the next time you need to log in it will be with the new password.

May 4, 2014 3:19 PM in response to Roger Wilmut1by niteowl,I haven't started yet but It's time to make the change.
Can iCloud have a different ID Password than any of the rest and would I notice? It's a complicated personal issue.

May 4, 2014 11:59 PM in response to niteowlby Roger Wilmut1,You could be using different Apple IDs (and hence logins) for iTunes, iCloud and these forums; but anywhere the login is the same, the password is the same.
