Q: I've recently added a large playlist (merging my main instance of itunes to my existing snapshot so that my library is now whole).  The issue is that iTunes Match isn't able to complete it's syncing of the information to iTunes and simply hangs for hours.

iTunes Match hangs after import of 8000 song library (my main itunes library) as a playlist (in the newer and incomplete) iTunes library of record with apple.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013), OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

    Hi folks,

     

    I found a solution in case your MATCH is still buggy...

     

    JUST BOOT YOUR MAC HOLDING THE SHIFT KEY (until you see a progress bar).

     

    Then in itunes disable and re-enable iTunes Match.

     

    It should rescan all your library and eventually works.

     

    At the end just reboot your Mac normally.
