Q: Can't unhide apps.

I am trying to download Lion or Mountain Lion from recent app purchases.  They are hidden and I can't unhide them to re download.  When I click them it says The item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. store.  Why can't I download them again?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Where are you located and when did you make the first download?

As Mavericks is free and incorporates Lion and Mountain Lion, I think that in the US you are expected to go that route.   Frankly I would rather that than pay $19 each for them.

    Have you been invoiced?

The two files in question are very large, 3+ and 4+ GB. They could have been quietly downloading in the background.

Because you have bought something does not mean that it will always be available for redownload in the future. The Terms of Use for the Mac App Store states exactly that and informs folks to backup their purchases.

Thanks for the responses.  I fixed the issue.  I had to restart the computer several times  to get the hidden apps back into the purchased window. Was able to download the apps I needed.  Thanks again for your assistance.
