Q: my cloud has not backed up since 3/2/14 i need help i have no clue what im doing!

when i go into settings and cloud the only app i have marked on is the find my iphone app. how do i go on to see what is in the cloud to delete stuff. its saying i need 5.3gb of storage to back up. i have my contacts, calendar, and notes set to back up. i dont even know how to view whats out in cloud land to see if i still need it. help me please

    You can get an idea of what is using your storage by going to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage on your phone.  You can see all of your iCloud data from within the apps on your phone that are syncing with iCloud (mail, contacts, calendars, notes, etc.).  You can also see some of it by going to icloud.com from your computer.

     

    If you need to reduce your storage, this article provides some suggestions: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4847.  In addition to what's mentioned there, if you have lots of photos or videos in your text messages, they can greatly increase the size of your iCloud backup.  Deleting these from your messages, may significantly reduce the size of your backup.
