May 6, 2014 11:33 AM in response to Hellokitty1959by Nico44044,Hi folks,
I found a solution in case your MATCH is still buggy...
JUST BOOT YOUR MAC HOLDING THE SHIFT KEY (until you see a progress bar).
Then in itunes disable and re-enable iTunes Match.
It should rescan all your library and eventually works.
At the end just reboot your Mac normally.
Best regards from Paris.

Jun 9, 2014 7:35 PM in response to Hellokitty1959by dgrass90,Hi all,
I found this post when searching for a solution to the same problem. Unfortunately, to save space, my iTunes Library is stored on an SD card - so I could not try the "boot in safe mode" solution (SD cards are not recognized). I was able to find the solution to my problem.
Background: during Step 2, iTunes match would get stuck 1 song away from actually finishing. I went into the "songs" view and used the iCloud icon to sort by songs not in stored in iCloud. I right-clicked these and chose to "add to iCloud".
As it turns out, only one song would not add. I do not know why iTunes decided it didn't like this song, I am partial to it. But, either way, it wasn't having it. So, I deleted the song, turned off iTunes Match, and then turned it back on. Viola! (I redownloaded the song and added it with no problem).
I hope this works for others!

Jun 10, 2014 11:57 AM in response to Hellokitty1959by niktu,I'm in the process of setting up iTunes Match right now. I've had to stop and start it on all steps, multiple times. It's slowly but surely getting there. I'm now on Step 3 with about 400 songs to go.
Frustrating that it's not more seemless, but I'm guessing all will be good after this annoying initial set up.

Jun 10, 2014 9:00 PM in response to Hellokitty1959by TrixieDub,I'm having the same issue - it never seems to finish and I'm getting pretty frustrated that my 16000 song library has been turned into 3500 items! I have stopped and restarted several times now, including leaving it for 6 hours to run, and got absolutely nowhere. Anyone have any other solutions?

Jun 12, 2014 3:52 AM in response to TrixieDubby BigGee42,Hi there
I was having this same issue after re-enabling iTunes Match despite it having worked previously.
It turned out to be a problem with some of the new tracks i'd added since the last time it was enabled. To locate them, I had to wait until the match process was on step 2 and got to the point where it stopped matching. It got to something like 9822 of 9870 songs.
In the songs view I then changed the visible fields to include the iCloud Status field, then sorted the songs by this field.
When I scrolled to the bottom there were the exact number of remaining songs sitting on the "Waiting" status. All of these were new additions. I removed them from the library and retried the match and it completed perfectly. I'm now re-adding the songs back into the library one album at a time to see if they will match now.
Fingers crossed...

Please post your results when you get them. I'm hesitant to start down that road, as it's over 12000 songs that aren't matching, so this is a very time consuming solution for me - however, I'll give it a go too!

Jun 13, 2014 4:48 AM in response to Hellokitty1959by DrJonJ,Same problem here. Two albums stop my iTunes match from updating. I've tried rebooting my Mac, re-ripping the files as AAC, switching iTunes Match off and on again. The albums are definately available on the iTunes store, and so should match easily.
What's the problem???

Jun 14, 2014 2:15 AM in response to Hellokitty1959by metallitipha,It is the same for me for 2 days. Unable to send 2 albums on iTunes Match: an album from my MacBook another since my iMac. I tried the proposed solution by Nico44044 and even repairing permissions but it did not work.

Jun 14, 2014 11:31 AM in response to Hellokitty1959by metallitipha,For me the problem is with Apple's servers. Because, in addition to my Mac I have a Windows 8 tablet on which I have iTunes (an old version) with iTunes Match and it is impossible to upload an album on the Match.
