Q: I have a Mac OS X Version 10.5.8. I recently bought an HP Envy 120 e-All-In-One series HP printer and apparently it is not compatible with my Mac version. What do I need to do to operate my printer? thanks Maria

THe HP site says you need OS X 10.6 minimum (Snow Leopard). Apple sell the CD in their store.

The hardware specification for this printer requires an Intel Processor and Snow Leopard OS. If you have an Intel machine, you would need to upgrade to Snow Leopard. Go to the Apple online store and purchase from there.

After installing use the combo update to get to 10.6.8. Saves time using Software update.

this is an older question, but I had the same problem and could release it: I took the gutenprint-drivers (gimp-print) 5.2.10a (5.2.11 is not more for 10.5).

In the settings I took the HP e-print-driver (from gutenprint) for the Envy-Printer, it`s ok!
