Q: Update problem - preinstalled software associated with another ID

Hi, I recently bought a new Mac with Numbers, Keynote and Pages etc preinstalled. I've since then been notified that updates are available but when trying to download these updates from the App store it suggests that those products where bought by another Apple ID or has been cancelled or refunded.

I'd appreciate your help to fix this problem.

Kind regards,

Fredrik

This usually happens when you have failed to open the Mac App Store and accept these apps into your account during the initial setup of your Mac and prior to using any of the apps.

Do you encounter this issue if you try to update each of these apps individually? Or does this pop up when you try to Update All?

    Thanks for your response.

Must have missed that in when I set it up. I'm afraid it doesn't matter if I try to update individaully or all at once.
