Q: How can I get my dock to show on the right side on both monitors

I have my TV above my desk at school and I connect my macbook to it and arrange the screens so that the big TV screen is above my laptop screen and I have my dock positioned on the right side and I want to be able to make it appear on my TV screen when it's being used as the "primary" monitor.

Any ideas?

    Hi H.Swisher,

I understand that you are using multiple displays at school and would like the dock to appear on the right side of the TV screen that you use as your primary display. It sounds like you may need to use the display preferences to position the TV display not only above the MacBook Pro but to the right as well. The dock should appear on the rightmost display edge. The information can be found in the following article.

    Working with the Dock

When the Dock is configured to appear at the bottom of your screen, it's available on whichever screen you’re working on. Just move your pointer to the bottom of either display. When the Dock is configured for the left or right position, it appears on the leftmost or rightmost display edge.

    Thanks for reaching out,

This doesn't hold true for me.  My dock is on the left and even though my external display (TDM imac) is much further "left" the dock only shows up on the laptop screen.
