Jan 11, 2013 5:55 AM in response to EBPDuserby QuickTimeKirk,★HelpfulThe Windows version of QuickTime Player Pro can't even open WMP formats let alone convert them to other formats.
http://www.telestream.net/flip4mac/overview.htm is a Mac only product that can convert WMP formats using QuickTime.
You'll need some other software on your PC.

May 12, 2014 8:38 AM in response to EBPDuserby Jwullty,WMV, such a well received format by Windows users, is kept out of iDevice and QuickTime. Neither Mac nor Windows users can import WMV videos to iPhone, iPad, iPod, iTunes for playback.
In order to play WMV videos in iDevice and edit WMV files in iMovie, QuickTime and Final Cut Pro, you'd better to convert WMV to MOV (QuickTime).
